Nader speaks in Omaha

Ralph Nader spoke in Omaha on Friday night. I covered the story because I was already going back to Omaha, and apparently I can cover politics if they involve third-party independent candidates.

I sat in an intimate press conference and asked Mr. Nader about nuclear energy, which was interesting. I also shook his hand.
I transcribed his speech, which was funny and very interesting. It’s very neat to think he was not representing any corporate interest and his money came without strings attached. He definitely gave me some things to think about.

The original story was quite a bit longer than the one that made it into print, and I believe it was more cohesive.
